Whatsapp Hentikan Update Untuk Ponsel Tua, Ini Daftar Lengkapnya

Halo teman TintaHitam.Net, di tahun 2019 ini WhatsApp mulai menghentikan kontribusi teknis dan update terhadap ponsel berteknologi lawas. Salah satu ponsel yang tidak lagi didukung oleh WhatsApp yaitu terhadap ponsel Nokia lawas yang masih memakai sistem operasi Nokia S40 pada 31 Desember 2018.

Tapi hening aja, Nokia S40 masih sanggup memakai Aplikasi WhatsApp, tapi sudah tidak mendapatkan update atau kontribusi berupa fitur gres dan juga keamanan.

Karena meningkatnya jumlah pengguna di WhatsApp, meluncurkan fitur dan pembaruan ke perangkat lama atau lama akan menjadi kendala aplikasi untuk berkembang. Inilah sebabnya mengapa WhatsApp telah secara aktif menghentikan kontribusi untuk perangkat yang lebih bau tanah dan sistem operasi lawas selama bertahun-tahun.

Pada 2017 misalnya, WhatsApp mengumumkan akan mengakhiri kontribusi untuk perangkat Nokia Symbian S60, BlackBerry 7, BlackBerry 10, dan Windows Phone 8.0. WhatsApp ke depannya akan menghentikan kontribusi untuk sistem operasi Android 2.3.7 atau yang lebih lama dan iPhone iOS 7 pada 1 Februari 2020.
